New solidarity story “Etetack. L’esperança d’en Sop”

Last Sant Jordi was a very special day for us! The fact of not traveling during 2021 did not prevent us from publishing the solidarity story of each year. “Etetack. Sop’s hope” tells us about the life of Sop, a boy from the Northwest of Cameroon who has to flee his homeland to escape the difficult situation in the territory. He and his mother move to Yaoundé in search of a new life, and it is in this city that they learn about the Ramassà project in the Etetack neighborhood. Sop’s life is full of hope: he will be able to go back to school and do what he likes the most, playing football again.

The original text and illustrations are done by local authors from the Etetack neighborhood. The adaptation and prologue, by the journalist, NGO advisor and Ramassà ambassador, Chema Caballero.
